Caves Sloupsko-sosuvske jeskyne are a wide complex of passages and domes in two levels, connected by stately subterranean gorges even 80 meters deep. The cave is the richest finding place of skeletons of cave animals (beers, lions, hyenas). Eliscina jeskyne has a very wide stalactite decor and a grandiose acoustics, therefore concerts of chamber-music take place here. During the reconstruction in 1997 the Stupnovita propast (gorge) has been bridged over so visitors can enjoy the uncommon sight. The gorge Nagelova, with the depth of 80 meters, is the biggest gorge in Czech Republic. It is enabled by two viewing platforms for visitors.
A part of this place is also Kulna, one of the most famous and the best explored archeological findind-place. Beside stone and bone tool a part of Neanderthal man skull has been discovered (120 000 years old).
The tour is started every 20 minutes with 55 visitors maximally in group from 1st May to 30th September. In April and October every 30 minutes, 55 visitors too. But from 1.February to 31st March, only tree tours are allowed. The cave is in November, December and January closed. Time of the tour is 60 minute or 100 minute (the longer tour).
